Tique the Elf – Thanksgiving Day

Posted on November 26, 2010

For those of you who were around last year, you know that Tique the Elf appeared in the Christmas Tree box and stayed with us until Christmas Eve.  He played tricks on the family (leaving tons of messes for the girls to clean up!) and left sweet little notes instructing us to do fun little activities together as a family.

As you can imagine, yesterday, when it came time to go get the Christmas Tree from the attic, the girls were chomping at the bit to get upstairs and help, in the hopes that Tique was in the box.

While they were helping their dad, I was basting the turkey and heard a knock knock knock at the door. I yelled from my oven for Keith to get the door but his hands were full, so Katie volunteered.  Next I hear “TIQUE!!!!!!!!!!”

Apparently Tique had been special delivered to us straight to our doorstep.  He brought three festive candles with him for the girls as his hostess gifts.

Now…. let’s see what mischief Tique can get into this year…
